I remember like it was yesterday. It was March 9, 1997 – when I heard the announcement of the passing of B.I.G. I was shocked. He was indeed ’sicker than yo’ average’ and he had a magnetic charisma that drew people to him. Not only did he create what I consider to be ‘true rap,’ he was the best at it!
